The amazing work in Israel by Bridges For Peace for over 50 years is making an impact! Founded in 1976 by Douglas Young, Bridges for Peace seeks to be a ministry of hope and reconciliation between Christians and Jews. Their desire is to love unconditionally the Jewish people beginning in Jerusalem and reaching around the world. And, for Christians and Jews to work side by side for better understanding and a more secure Israel.
Through programs such us Food Centers for the poor, Adopt a Child, families of IDF soldiers who have lost love ones, Operation Ezra helping immigrants return to the land; Bridges for Peace stands faithfully alongside the Nation of Israel to support the Jewish people and honor the Covenants of God made to them beginning with Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3). Bridges for Peace is giving Christians the opportunity to actively express their Biblical responsibility before God to be faithful to Israel and the Jewish community.
For too long Christians have been silent. For too long the Jewish community has had to fight it’s battles alone. This generation of Christians are aware that the Bible is true about Israel and they are reaching individuals and congregations around the world to help fulfill God’s promises to them.
